Does PACSPad work with PowerScribe and Dragon?

Yes. PACSPad integrates directly with PowerScribe, Dragon, and other dictation platforms — the software recognizes it natively over USB. No drivers or companion apps needed.

Does it replace my microphone?

No — PACSPad is a button controller, not a microphone. Keep using your existing mic for dictation audio.

What do I need to configure it?

Just Chrome or Edge. The browser-based configurator handles buttons, macros, layers, profiles, and firmware updates. Settings are stored on the device, so it works on any workstation afterward — including locked-down hospital PCs.

Can multiple radiologists share one PACSPad?

Yes. Profiles save complete configurations and switch in seconds, from the device itself or the configurator. An optional boot PIN can lock the device in shared spaces.

How does it connect?

A single USB connection (3-meter USB-C to USB-A cable included). Two USB-A passthrough ports connect your wired mouse, microphone, or any other USB device straight through to the computer, and Bluetooth handles wireless accessories — one cable serves the whole desk. Note: the USB ports are direct passthrough; button remapping applies to Bluetooth devices.
